Sirsi: Bisalakoppa Suryanarayana High School Kannada teacher Savita Bhatt has been honored with the Gnanasindhu award given by the education magazine Bangalore Koda.
J. On 12th, the award will be presented at Beilagi in Bagalkot. Savita Bhatt has been working as a teacher for the last twenty six years.
Savita Bhatt has also received several awards for her services in the past including the State Award. Under the guidance of Savita Bhatt, many students of Suryanarayan High School have won awards in state level activities like Essay, Speech etc. Apart from this, he has participated in Ramayana, Mahabharata examinations and received awards. Students of class 10th of high school have been selected for this award considering that they score the highest marks every year in Kannada language.

ಜ. ೧೨ ರಂದು ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆಯ ಬೀಳಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಕಳೆದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಸವಿತಾ ಭಟ್ ಅವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸವಿತಾ ಭಟ್ ಅವರ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೂಡ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಸೇರಿ ಕೆಲ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರಗಳು ಸಂದಿವೆ. ಸವಿತಾ ಭಟ್ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯ ಅನೇಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ, ಭಾಷಣ ಮುಂತಾದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ರಾಮಾಯಣ, ಮಹಾಭಾರತ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಹತ್ತನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಂಕ ಗಳಿಸುತತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಈ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
