PANAJI: After arresting a bar and restaurant (shack) owner, his son, and two workers in connection with the murder of a tourist from Telangana in Goa’s Calangute beach early Wednesday morning, the police on Thursday succeeded in arresting another worker. The arrested suspects have been remanded in police custody for 9 days by the court.
Suman Sonar (28, Nepal), was arrested by the police on Thursday. In connection with this case, the shack owner Agnela (64), son Shuberta Silveira (23), Anil Bista (24, Nepal), Kamal Sunara (23, Nepal) were arrested by the police in the first phase of the operation. The Mapsa court remanded these accused to police custody.
A tourist Bolaravi was assaulted by the bar and restaurant staff for the trivial reason of demanding food after the kitchen was closed at night. Later he died.

ಸುಮನ್ ಸೋನಾರ್( 28, ನೇಪಾಳ), ಈತನನ್ನು ಗುರುವಾರ ಪೋಲಿಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪೋಲಿಸರು ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಶಾಕ್ ಮಾಲೀಕ ಆಗ್ನೇಲ(64), ಮಗ ಶುಬರ್ಟ ಸಿಲ್ವೇರಾ (23), ಅನೀಲ್ ಬಿಸ್ತಾ (24, ನೇಪಾಳ), ಕಮಲ್ ಸುನಾರ (23, ನೇಪಾಳ) ಈ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪೋಲಿಸರು ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಮಾಪ್ಸಾ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯವು ಈ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪೋಲಿಸ್ ಕಸ್ಟಡಿ ವಿಧಿಸಿದೆ.
ಬಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೆಸ್ಟೊರೆಂಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಿಚನ್ ಬಂದ್ ಆದ ನಂತರ ಖಾದ್ಯ ಪದಾರ್ಥ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಎಂಬ ಕ್ಷುಲ್ಲಕ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸೆಟ್ಟೊರೆಂಟ್ ಕರ್ಮಚಾರಿಗಳು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ಬೋಲಾರವಿ ಎಂಬಾತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು. ನಂತರ ಈತ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ.
